Rhys and Becky first visited me when they had their first child, Morgan, nearly two years ago. Morgan now has a beautiful baby brother to help look after!
So here are some images from Tayler’s shoot.
Here are a few other shots posted earlier:
And here are Morgan’s newborn photographs.
At little Tayler’s newborn shoot, we had lots of fun. Becky, his proud mum worked with me to produce the shot below.
Would anyone like to guess what happened a few seconds after this shot was taken?
Last week, Jenny brought her beautiful newborn baby to the studio for a shoot. This is Jenny and Jacob’s second visit, although last time Jacob wasn’t born – he was a lovely bump in his mummy’s tummy and we did a pregnancy shoot.
Jenny decided to join my Baby’s First Year programme, this gives her:
Jacob sailed through his first shoot and even managed a little nap during his time on the stage!
Today, Nicola and Mark crossed town to visit my Berkhamsted photography studio with their very new baby. William was less than two weeks old, very quiet and contented. He slept through most of the shoot but decided to show his beautiful eyes for the final few poses.
It was a beautiful sunny morning when Steven and Nicola arrived with their beautiful 3 week old baby boy, Ethan. This young family had travelled from Tring to my studio to have some family portraits. Ethan was very patient and didn’t seem at all phased in the studio environment. Here are a few photos ahead of the viewing:

We decided on a name for our new daughter – Sophie. As you might expect, Sophie was the youngest baby to visit the studio for a newborn portrait. This is her at 3 days old!

Just 3 days Old
Karen is having a tough time deciding which of these three high key portraits is the one!
Which picture would you pick for a framed portrait?

Harry at 3 weeks
Today I met a beautiful young family from Radlett. Dan, Karen and their gorgeous newborn baby Harry arrived at the studio this morning for a portrait shoot. Harry was very sweet and had a sparkle in his eyes.
After a short chat about the shoot, clothes and a look at some possible poses, we commenced the shoot. We spent about 60% of the time with a high key set up, white background and soft lighting. Once that part was completed, and after Harry filled his tummy, we swapped over to a black background and more directional lighting.

Mum and Harry
I hope mum and dad like these early pictures, they’re hot off the press. Dan is heading overseas very soon for work and so I’m working hard on post-processing all the images from the shoot so we can be ready for a viewing before he leaves.

Dad and Harry
Karen mentioned that she wished she had some maternity portraits before the birth of Harry – if you are expecting, please check out the maternity portrait page and blog articles to see the kind of work I do in this area.
