Jenny visited the studio for Jacob’s third shoot (he has a total of 4 on the Baby’s first year programme). He’s changed lots since last time he was in front of the lens, he’s now sitting unsupported and he wants to be on the move – that’s when life as a parent becomes even more complicated (yes and fun).
Last week Rachal brought her beautiful boy, Dylan, for a baby portrait shoot. Dylan was very smiley and had gorgeous sparkly eyes!
Keely brought her two lovely children to the studio for a portrait shoot. Baby Daisy was a beautiful 4 month old, very cute and smiley! Her big brother Louie was a real sweetie and very nicely spoken, he made me smile!
Jenni and Dave brought their beautiful twin girls to the studio for a shoot. Ellie and Mia were 6 months old – they seemed to be very happy babies and had lots of smiles.
Earlier this week, Jenny brought her beautiful baby son, Jacob, back to the studio for his second visit. (Jacob is on my Baby’s First Year Programme). He had just had a long sleep in the car and took a while to come around … but he was soon looking around very inquisitively. Jacob is a very strong little boy – on his front he practised his sky diving position and held himself very sturdily.
A very pretty young lady, Jenny, visited my studio for a few photographs of her bump! Jenny is due in just a few weeks and she picked the perfect time, with her bump nice and prominent, to record this important event in her life.

Mum to be - Looking very elegant
Very kindly, this young lady from near Hemel Hempstead, has allowed me to show you these maternity portraits. She’s about 6 or 7 months pregnant and wanted to record this special time and decided to be brave and have a series of nudes. After she arrived, we looked through some example photos so that she could consider the poses that she liked and would be happy with.
The shoot started with some bump shots with some fabric wrapped around her, just below the bump. Then we moved on to a sequence of shots with her lying on the floor in various poses. She was very relaxed and didn’t seem at all nervous about the experience so we the moved on to shoot some silhouettes (which I think make wonderful maternity portraits).

This mum to be has been back to the studio for her viewing and she said she was delighted with the results (many thanks for the order!), she was very easy to work with and as I said earlier very generous, letting me share these pictures with you. Good luck with the birth!
A young man was in my studio a short time ago for a photo shoot. It was a day or two before his first day at school and he arrived proudly wearing his brand new uniform. His mum wanted a record of him starting school for the first time, his school is a local one here in Berkhamsted.
This young chap was a joy to work with, he really enjoyed posing for the camera, he did want to check the LCD on the back of the camera every few shots though, but that was no trouble. Sessions like this with children are so much fun; this was one of those shoots where everything worked out perfectly and it was over from start to finish in under 45 minutes!
