Barnaby and Kitty dropped by the studio after school one day last week  for a shoot. The children were lots of fun to photograph and had strong ideas about what they wanted to do! One thing of note …. Kitty built the tallest tower so far in the studio …. see below.

I had the pleasure of welcoming Wendy, Paul and their two boys to the studio this weekend. Wendy had ensured that the family were beautifully colour co-ordinated wearing complimentary colours.

They were a lovely family to work with, very relaxed, calm and the boys were very friendly and did almost everything I asked of them.

Harry and Tommy’s Autumn Shoot

November 15th, 2010

This week I met a family at the Ashridge Estate for the last autumn shoot of the season. The recent windy weather together with a few cold snaps has meant that most of the leaves have fallen and most of the trees are looking bare.

So, I met Harry, Tommy and their mum and dad for some fun in the woods. The boys were great fun and appreciated their time jumping in puddles and throwing leaves on their parents.

Tring Family shoot

November 11th, 2010

Last weekend saw the return of Nicola, Steve and their son Ethan to my studio, this is their 5th shoot with me! This time it was a little different, they brought Nicola’s brothers and sister with them (oh and baby Ellie). We spent an hour or so producing large group shots, some sub-groups, some parent & baby images and we couldn’t miss out getting a few up to date images of Ethan!

This weekend was a usual busy weekend in the studio. Jack and Emma visited me so that they could have some portraits ready for Christmas presents. Their mum and dad want to give some up to date photos to the children’s grandparents and god parents this year.

Jack and Emma were both full of energy and loved dancing around (those images will be in a later post) … but I caught them at a more quiet moment to produce some Photo Noir styled shots.

I met Sarah, Charlotte and their children at the Ashridge Estate last week for an autumn shoot. You could tell that it had been windy, many trees were starting to look bare and there were lots more leaves on the ground.

The children enjoyed playing, climbing on tree trunks, throwing leaves and dancing in the mud!!!

The Autumn shoots at the Ashridge Estate have been going well and the colours of the foliage has been beautiful! I met Helen and Richard with their ever so cute son and playful dog for a shoot, we spent 30 minutes shooting and strolling between the various locations that I’d previously scouted out.

Here are a few images from the session:
