Last week, Jenny brought her beautiful newborn baby to the studio for a shoot. This is Jenny and Jacob’s second visit, although last time Jacob wasn’t born – he was a lovely bump in his mummy’s tummy and we did a pregnancy shoot.

Jenny decided to join my Baby’s First Year programme, this gives her:

  • 4 shoots
  • a deluxe framed composition of her favourite images over the year
  • 20% discount on any products she might decide to buy
  • 20 custom made announcement cards that will include a photo of Jacob

Jacob sailed through his first shoot and even managed a little nap during his time on the stage!

The weather is definitely looking more autumnal this week and the forecast is talking about the night time temperatures getting down to 3 degrees C by the weekend. There are already a few trees with leaves changing colours and as October approaches we should see some beautiful displays of orange, red and yellow foliage.

I’ve set aside a few dates for Ashridge Family Portrait Shoots, October 23/24 and 30/31. I’ll be doing 30 minute shoots in the Ashridge Estate for only £25! You’ll get some stunning images that will be perfect to hang on your wall or to give to relatives for Christmas presents.

So why not join me on one of those dates and have some fun!

Give me a call to book your slot on 01442 870005.

Chesham Family Shoot – Berkhamsted Photographer

This week I had the pleasure of photographing Harry (aged 6), Millie and Forbes (both toddlers).  The little ones wanted to explore, climbing off the stage at every opportunity, Harry seemed to enjoy being on the stage and really like pulling funny faces! The 3 children were having their portraits taken for their grandmother … who was watching the session from the sofa and keeping a close eye on her precious grandchildren.

Here are a few images ahead of the viewing:

A few months ago I donated a raffle prize to the NCT for their Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party. Kate and Jonathan were the lucky winners of the prize and they visited the studio last week to make use of their voucher.

Back from a short break

I’m just back from a trip to Scotland. We drove the 600 miles to avoid the airport hassle and the very expensive hire car charges (over £900 for a Ford Galaxy or similar for a week). The weather was variable, gale force winds, rain and occasional sunshine … but we weren’t there to relax on the beach. My in-laws are from the north of Scotland and we were mainly there to visit relatives and to let them meet Sophie for the first time.
