A lovely family from Chesham visited the studio this morning! Jessica was a very smiley baby – she was also very patient letting us try lots of different poses. Here are a few pictures from the shoot.

Berkhamsted Photography Studio: Snow, snow and more snow

December 22nd, 2009

Well it has been snowing lots here! About another 4 or 5 inches of fresh snow last night … and that was on top of the snow from Thursday. Here’s how the studio looked this morning:

After a few photos in the garden, I took our eldest son, William, for a walk to Hockeridge woods. He loved pulling at the low hanging, snow laden branches … covering himself and me with lots of snow.

St Albans Family Portrait Shoot

December 21st, 2009

At the weekend Jo, Jake and their lovely 6 month old baby boy, Bailey, visited the studio. They braved the weather to get here, there was still several inches of snow lying on the road which meant driving was a little difficult, especially on our road in all but 4 wheel drive vehicles.

Bailey was a little darling, he was very patient and extremely well behaved – I hope he gets lots of presents from Santa!

Here are a few images from the shoot.

Victoria 1st School Christmas Fair – Santa Photos

December 7th, 2009

On Saturday, our eldest son’s school had a Christmas Fair. It was very well supported with hundreds of parents and children enjoying all that was on offer. You could buy everything from your Christmas tree and Christmas cakes through to a bacon sandwich :-) . I spent 4 hours in Santa’s grotto – each of Santa’s visitors received a photograph of themselves with Santa! It was a pleasure to be able to help the school in this way.

Today Jane and her beautiful baby daughter, Amelie, arrived at the studio for a portrait shoot. Amelie was a perfect model! She was very patient, tried lots of poses without being directed … what more could a photographer ask.

Tring Family Portrait Shoot

December 2nd, 2009

Nicola, Steve and their beautiful son Ethan returned to the studio today for some more photos. They last visited me when Ethan was just 3 weeks old. He certainly has done a lot of growing in the last 20 weeks or so!

Harpenden Family Portrait

December 1st, 2009

Janet and Phil, a Harpenden family, visited the studio this weekend with their two boys to have a portrait shoot. They were very relaxed in front of the camera and the boys enjoyed giving piggy back rides and trying lots of different poses for me. It was a fun and fast paced shoot!
